Creamy Tahini Salad Dressing


from the cookbook “From Asparagus to Zucchini”

3 Tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
Dash of hot sauce or pinch of cayenne
1 Tsp dried dill weed

Toast sesame seeds in dry skillet or hot oven several minutes, tossing often. Cook and mix with remaining ingredients and 1/4 cup water.

Makes 1 1/2 cups
