Fruit Share

The fruit share is like the icing on the cake. It is nature's candy. It's the sweet stuff we never feel guilty about eating. The Dracut, Gloucester and Somerville fruit shares are meant for two people while the Lawrence share is intended for one. Multiple shares are an option for larger families, or to share with the office. Fruit shares are available only with the purchase of a vegetable share.

Farmer Dave's is working towards growing all of the fruit available in the fruit shares. The farm currently grows the strawberries and melons in the fruit share, and as the fruit trees mature, more and more of the apples will come from our orchards. Until the farm is able to provide all the fruit, Farmer Dave's will get fruit from local farms in Massachusetts and New Hampshire that use environmentally sustainable methods. Within 3 years, Farmer Dave expects to be able to offer all his own fruit.
