Jenn’s Grilled Beets

If you pick up in Dracut, Tewksbury, or Gloucester, you have undoubtedly met Jenn at your CSA pick-up. Jenn is responsible for many things at Farmer Dave’s, from managing the farm stands to seeding vegetables in the greenhouse to growing those beautiful hanging baskets you see at our farm stand every spring. She whipped up this quick grilled beets recipe after a long day at work.

Toss 1 bunch of beets with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Italian seasoning, sea salt and pepper to taste. Place in a vegetable grill basket and grill for 10-15 minutes. Then remove from heat, and wrap the beets in foil. Grill for another 10-15 minutes until beets are tender.
