One of our most asked about vegetables, pea shoots and tendrils are a delicious treat to get in your CSA box. They have a typical leafy-green taste, with hints of peas (no surprise!) and spinach. You can prepare them any way that you would spinach or other greens. They’re very versatile: put them in soups, cut them up small and sautée them, or put a sprig on your main dish for a little extra flavor and visuals (you’ll see the latter method in lots of restaurants). Also, everything is edible–the shoots, tendrils, and flowers!
