What’s That In My Share? Kohlrabi

A vegetable in the cabbage family that tastes like a cross between broccoli stems and a peppery radish. 

Kohlrabi blends in well with many different dishes and adds a refreshing crunch when used raw in recipes. 

Once peeled it can be grated and added to a slaw with carrots and apples.  Kohlrabi cubed is delicious cooked in soups, stews and curried
